South Florida “fall” is still warm – pack water, sunscreen, hats and comfy shoes. Check the event page the morning of, arrive early for “while supplies last” goodies and toss in a tiny kit: wipes, a bottle of water, a tote for crafts & candy and an umbrella or poncho if showers pop up.
After dark, add glow sticks or clip on lights and pick a simple meeting spot. Sensory plan = headphones, a fidget and a quiet corner. Choose a few “must snap” photos and videos, then put the phone away and enjoy the moment! These holidays we get to spend with our kids go by so very fast. It’s so important for their sake to balance memory making with being present.
