Fort Lauderdale: 4th of July Spectacular

The City of Fort Lauderdale’s free 4th of July Spectacular brings a full day of live music, family fun, and fireworks to Las Olas Oceanside Park and Fort Lauderdale Beach. Throughout the afternoon, families can enjoy a lively kids zone packed with inflatable water slides, face painting, arts and crafts, and plenty of beach games to keep everyone entertained.
As the sun starts to set, the celebration heats up with live DJs and a special evening concert: the I Love the 90s Tour, featuring Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, Tone Loc, and Young MC performing on the beach stage. The night ends with the event’s grand finale: a dazzling fireworks show over the Atlantic Ocean at 8:45pm, always a crowd favorite.
Heads up for those attending: Las Olas Boulevard between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard will be closed from 6 AM to midnight on the 4th, and traffic in the area will be heavy, especially in the evening. If you can, take public transportation or rideshare to avoid parking headaches. Hollywood Beach Centennial Celebration: Star Spangled Spectacular

Celebrate the 4th of July with ocean breezes and beachside fun at Hollywood’s Centennial Celebration: Star-Spangled Spectacular on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. This popular annual event, sponsored by the City of Hollywood’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts, brings the community together for an evening of live entertainment starting at 5:00pm. Visitors can stroll the Broadwalk, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the festive atmosphere leading up to the night’s grand finale: a dazzling offshore fireworks display at 9:00pm, lighting up the sky over the Atlantic.
This is a great option if you’re looking for a classic beach vibe with a family-friendly crowd and plenty of spots to watch the show. Arrive early to find parking or consider rideshare, as this is always one of the most popular spots in Broward County for July 4th fireworks.
Pompano Beach July 4th Fireworks Spectacular
Location: Fisher Family Pier

Celebrate the Fourth of July beachfront style at Pompano Beach’s annual July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at Fisher Family Pier. The event kicks off at 5:00 PM with live music and entertainment hosted by Drew from Y100, featuring DJ Mike Cooley and live performances by Stereo FM Party Band and Shadow Creek. As the sun goes down, get ready for the night’s main event. A stunning fireworks show will light up the sky over the ocean starting at 9:00 PM.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and plan to arrive early, as parking is limited and traffic restrictions begin at 8:45pm. The Atlantic Boulevard Bridge will be closed to vehicles during the fireworks show, but pedestrians will still have access. Note that personal fireworks, alcohol, glass containers, drones, and pets are not permitted.
Plantation Independence Day Celebration

Plantation’s Independence Day Celebration offers a full day of family fun, starting with a patriotic parade at 9:00am that winds through the city and ends at City Hall. From 10:00am to 2:00pm, residents can cool off for free at the Plantation Aquatic Complex during the city’s Patriotic Pool Day. In the evening, head to Central Park, where the Kid’s Zone opens at 6:00pm with inflatables and games, followed by a free outdoor concert at 7:00pm. The night wraps up with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:00pm, known as one of the best in Broward County. Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners are welcome, but personal fireworks, sparklers, drones, tents, and pets are not permitted.
Sunrise July 4th Celebrations

Sunrise offers a full day of family fun with its annual July 4th Celebrations. The day begins with The Great Outdoors Parade and Family Fun Day from 9:00am to 12:00pm at City Park, where families can enjoy themed floats, a kids fun zone, an inflatable water slide, obstacle course, rock wall, splash pad, and more. In the evening, head to Amerant Bank Arena for the nighttime celebration from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Enjoy live entertainment from Paradigm Party Band, a children’s fun zone, and a variety of food and beverage vendors. The night ends with a fantastic fireworks display at 9:30pm. Admission and parking are free.
Tamarac’s 4th of July All-American Celebration
Location: Tamarac Sports Complex
Time: 6:30pm to 9:30pm, fireworks at 9:00pm
Celebrate the biggest birthday party in the City of Tamarac at the 4th of July All-American Celebration at Tamarac Sports Complex. The event runs from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM and features a free outdoor concert with The Vam Band, a kid’s area with inflatables, face painting, and arts and crafts, plus a variety of food trucks. The evening ends with an impressive choreographed fireworks display at 9:00 PM. Limited on-site parking is available; attendees are encouraged to use the free shuttle service from Tamarac City Hall and Tamarac Community Center. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
Margate’s Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks

Margate’s Fourth of July Extravaganza is a full day of family fun, starting with a patriotic parade along Margate Boulevard from 9:00am to 11:30am, followed by post-parade refreshments and bounce houses. From 1:00pm to 4:00pm, families can cool off at the Calypso Cove Pool Party. The evening celebration runs from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the northwest corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7, featuring food trucks, obstacle courses, and live music by Studio 54 Band starting at 6:00pm. The night ends with a magnificent fireworks display at 9:00pm. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as road closures will be in effect throughout the day.
