Wilton Manors is proudly recognized as the LGBTQ+ capital of South Florida, and every June, the city takes Pride to the next level. Wilton Drive comes alive with one of the state’s biggest and oldest celebrations, featuring a high-energy parade, local food vendors, live performances, and street parties that go well into the night.
While Pride is a celebration, it’s also a time to honor the history and activism of the LGBTQ+ community. Show love, be respectful, and celebrate safely.
When is Wilton Manors Pride?
Wilton Manors celebrates Pride all month long in June, with events, parties, and community gatherings happening throughout the city.
The main event is the Stonewall Pride Parade & Street Festival, held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 on Wilton Drive. This all-day festival and glow night parade is the largest Pride celebration in Wilton Manors, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
Stonewall Pride Parade & Street Festival
Wilton Manors’ Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival is one of South Florida’s biggest Pride events, drawing over 50,000 people to Wilton Drive each year. This year’s celebration marks 25 years of honoring freedom, love, and creativity in the LGBTQ+ community.
Stonewall Pride pays tribute to the Stonewall Riots, the moment that ignited the global push for LGBTQ+ rights. It’s a chance to celebrate the progress we’ve made, including the landmark 2015 Supreme Court decision that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide, while also recognizing that the journey toward true equality and representation is still ongoing.
At Stonewall Pride, everyone is welcome. In fact, no one is turned away from entering the main event area, even if they can’t afford a ticket. Pride here truly means Pride for all.
The Block Party Festival
The all-day Block Party Festival kicks off at 3pm on Saturday, June 14, turning Wilton Drive into a high-energy celebration that runs all the way until 11pm. The streets come alive with music, food, dancing, and thousands of people showing up to celebrate Pride in true South Florida style.
Throughout the day, you’ll find seven stages set up along The Drive, each featuring live performances, DJs, and themed entertainment. In addition to the stages, 16 bars along Wilton Drive keep the party going with drinks, dancing, and special Pride-themed events.
The Vendor Marketplace lines the streets with food, drinks, and local businesses offering everything from festival snacks to community resources. You’ll also find exclusive lounges, like the VIP Lounge, Women’s Lounge, and Black Excellence Lounge, perfect if you’re looking to elevate your experience with a little extra comfort and access.
The Glow Night Parade
When the sun goes down, Wilton Drive lights up. The Glow Night Parade kicks off at 8pm, featuring illuminated floats, vehicles, and walking groups decked out in lights, rainbows, and creative costumes. It’s a visual spectacle you don’t want to miss and the perfect way to cap off a day of celebration.
Stonewall Pride Pre-Game Open Bar & Disco
Kick off Stonewall Pride weekend in style at Rebel Wine Bar in Oakland Park with the Love Is Love Pre-Game Open Bar & Disco. On Thursday, June 6 from 6–9 PM, the vibes will be high and the wine flowing as DJ Natalie Smallish spins vintage disco pride jams all night long.
Sip curated wines and beers at the open bar, mingle with the local LGBTQ+ community, and grab a free Pride giveaway to rock at the Wilton Manors parade.
Tickets start at $35 for two hours of open bar. A portion of proceeds benefits LGBTQ+ organizations, so your good time supports a great cause. Presented in partnership with Skirt SoFlo Magazine and Connect Record Shop.
Drag Brunch Bingo
Join the fun on Sunday, June 29 from 12pm to 3pm at La Mexicana for a drag brunch that brings the drama, in the best way. Hosted by Poizon Ivy Lords with music by DJ BVidal, this lively afternoon combines bingo, brunch, and over-the-top performances. Come hungry, bring cash for tips, and get ready for big laughs, wild energy, and maybe even a lucky streak.
FLoatarama
While not technically in Wilton Manors, FLoatarama has become a can’t-miss part of Pride Month in Fort Lauderdale.
Taking place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, FLoatarama is America’s largest Pride-on-Water fundraiser, featuring a festive yacht parade along the Intracoastal Waterway. It’s a unique way to celebrate Pride. On the water, under the sun, and surrounded by community.
The event raises funds to support LGBTQ+ youth in South Florida, blending fun and purpose to make a real impact. Since launching in 2021, FLoatarama has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to local organizations providing critical services for LGBTQ+ young people.
Celebrate on the Beach
If you’re looking to keep the party going with some sun and sand, head over to Sebastian Street Beach on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Often recognized as one of the top gay beaches in the country, this lively stretch of sand is a favorite hangout for both locals and visitors. Conveniently located near many of Fort Lauderdale’s LGBTQ+ resorts, it’s the perfect spot to relax, meet new people, and soak up the South Florida sunshine.
Pride with Purpose
Pride isn’t just about the parties, it’s also a time to reflect on the journey that brought us here. Just a short drive from Wilton Manors, you’ll find two powerful spaces that do just that.
The World AIDS Museum, located inside ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale, is the first museum in the world dedicated to sharing the history and impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Right next door, the Stonewall National Museum, Archives & Library holds one of the largest LGBTQ+ collections in the country, with millions of pages of archives, photographs, books, and artifacts that preserve the stories and struggles of the community.
Both are meaningful stops to connect with the past, honor those who paved the way, and remind us why Pride matters.
